Yes indeed he is! I have just watched the Norma Talmadge 1916 film "Going Straight" & have thoroughly enjoyed it-I thought Eugene Pallette a dead ringer for "Nicolas Cage" personally.
Also enjoyed his performance in the same year's "Children in the House" too-A wonderfully versatile actor!

LOL, I thougt exactly the same: very handsome indeed, and even sexy. His eyes were simply amazing. Who would guess he would gain so much weight a few years later?
