Fatty and Mabel House Location?

Does anyone know where the house where Fatty and Mabel was located? It's been almost 100 years since the movie was filmed, so I doubt the house's still there. It was practically in the surf on the beach and looked like it may have been a row house. That seems like a dumb place to put a house.

I'm guessing somewhere in southern CA since a lot of the silents were filmed there.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
