Even among movie buffs silent films are a pretty niche "genre", if you will. And they aren't even on the radar of your average moviegoer. I consider myself a huge fan of cinema and even I have a hard time digesting silent films.

Short films aren't widely popular either. So a silent short film is only going to appeal to a very small percentage of people.

It's too bad that more people don't watch silent films. I agree they deserve more appreciation from the general public. This one had an interesting storyline.
