What is the Little Guy's Name?

Does anyone know the name of Owen's friend? The short guy who Owen met as a 17 year old when he fought a hoodlum who threw his bag off a dock?

The guy is on screen more than Owen, Skinny or Mamie Rose but I don't see his name in the credits.

That would suck if he's lost to time because he wasn't a Hollywood leading man.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
