i mean the 1915 not 1920 version that people confuse this with

Only 20 meter length copy was known to exists at Staatlichten Filmarchiv der DDR.
Recently 77 meter copy is newly found, now we can see 97 meter version (about 4 minutes including added opening title) in Pal DVD "Film im Herzen Europas". (They say another 11 meter is still under restoration.)
its geting there then lol its a shame that so many films get lost.
the bbc lost a load cleaning out the werehouse sent a skip load of films tv series to the landfill including doctor who from the 60s and early 70s theres so many missing epps from the first 2 doctors.
what is herzen europas?
i think the restored footage should be an extra on the 3rd film
is there any of the second film 1917 in existance?
what id like to see also is the full original shape of things to come the one h g wells helped to make theres so much of that missing it was originaly shown in full in cinemas then they shortend it because it was too long and lost it somewhere
