Missing Footage

Reading some of the reviews, there should be something prior to Chaplin showing up at Keystone Studios. That's missing from the Passport Video collection.

Hi - I know your post is over 3 years old, but I JUST now myself found a decent copy of this film with the missing footage you're talking about. Yes - Charlie goes to the movies and falls in love with the "Keystone Girl", THEN decides he'll go to the Keystone Studios to meet her. Of course, mayhem follows all! ;-)

Missya, thanks for the link. I've only ever seen the 7 minute version and the print was in pretty bad shape. I'm glad to have finally seen the full version as it was released way back in 1914, and in an excellent print no less!
