5/10. Here's why:
Unlike most silent movies, the title cards in FROM THE MANGER TO THE CROSS don't show the dialogue; they show passages from the Bible. Bad idea. That makes the movie feel like mass... in a bad way. However, it's short and well-made for the time period.
