BORING!

They tried to keep the story true to the Bible, but it is so stretched out! I was bored after the first 2 minutes. It's 100 years old this year, so I still consider it an interesting addition to my library.

I actually really liked this movie. I know they left a lot of stuff out (such as the beheading of John the Baptist, Jesus rising from the grave after His crucifixion, Jesus resisting Satan's temptation, etc.), but it was only 71 minutes long and made in 1912 when filmmaking was nowhere near as simple as it is now so I can excuse it. As you said they kept the story true to the Bible. I loved how every line was a Bible verse rather than interpretation of the dialogue from a screenwriter's imagination, and even though it left out a lot of information I think it is still the most Biblically accurate film I've seen as of yet.
