I have a book of collected books of Little Nemo - the detail in amazing and watching how quickly McCay could draw the Little Nemo characters makes the Little Nemo comic strips even more amazing. Apparently it wasn't one of the more popular comic strips of the day - it didn't have the humor of Happy Hooligan, Foxy Grandpa, or Doc Yak - those didn't have much detail to them. The Little Nemo strips when Nemo was visiting various cities that ran Little Nemo (before Hearst lured McCay away the NY Herald) are really incredible - a chance to see several cities in the US and Canada as they were pre-WWI.
