Amazing
This is one of the most amazing animated movies I've ever seen. The attention to detail left me in awe. All stop-motion animators owe this movie a huge debt.
This world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those that feel.
I agree. It's date makes it still more astounding, although to mention it almost denigrates what's a great film for any age. The story, didactic yet not preachy, and the witty and expressive manipulations of the insects are both extremely impressive.
