Better than "The Great Train Robbery"

Usually Film History courses show The Great Train Robbery, which is essential viewing, for numerous reasons (the first film that people went to see specifically, not just for a bunch of whatever). However, Life of an American Fireman is a bit better constructed, with editing WITHIN scenes, something lacking in Porter's better known film.

What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.
