I just don't understand...

In a documentary I just watched on Charles-Emile Reynaud, it says he personally (and purposely) destroyed all of his work in a river because of depression. And that only a handful of his work remains. This animation short of Le clown et ses chiens wasn't one of them, and thus... is deemed a lost film.

If it is truly lost, how did 126 IMDB members view and rate this movie? Or are some people just rating this movie without seeing it?

Hopefully, the documentary got it wrong, and this short animation film is somewhere in existence.

Because there's loads of fools who vote on things without having seen them.

Also I don't think this should be here at all sine it was hand painted to film, not photographed.
