I don't remember her claiming to be in the Capitol. She was in genuine fear of her safety. Being raised in safe spaces all her life with bulldozer/helicopter mom in tow, she never knew what reality felt like until that fateful day. Those people yelling north of the building could be heard and the vast amount of Trump flags would scare if not scar any Democrat, especially her. You can't blame her and the trauma she faced. It's like being sexually harassed all over again. Did I mention she was a sexual harassment survivor? It was both a mixture of that and all the testosterone emanating from the MAGA crowd. You people should be ashamed of yourselves for ganging up on her. It's like reliving sexual harassment but ONLINE! Shame on you, shame on you all.

She exaggerated, which is a form of lying. She said she had a close encounter and almost died. Not true. A congresswoman 2 doors away said the rioters never came in their hallway

Fyi: They breached everywhere. It wasn't just at the front door. They broke windows on the left wing also and entered through there as well. Crowd was big so I would think she could hear them yelling and fight cops from the hill. Yes she may have exaggerated a bit but that was due to her deep rooted fear of white males.

That might all be true if she hadn't been raised in New York City. If you actually grow up there you are used to constant noise and shit like that. This wouldn't have bothered someone from New York unless they were actually banging on her office door, which they weren't they weren't anywhere close to her her office. Nothing exceptional happened on "that fateful day". By the standards of the last year this hardly qualifies as a "peaceful protest".
