Where does she live?

That's the newest question that's dogging AOC. They can't find a residence in her home district. The other question -- which I personally think is asked and answered -- is whether she wants to represent the people of her "home district" or to be a national political star.

I mean, c'mon. Ya gotta ask???

reply

judging by her IMDB photo,
under a bridge with gollum

reply

This I gotta see. Thanks for the heads up, legnadibrom.

Just looked. Not flattering. She needs a new PR person.

The average salary for the house and senate is $174,000, thats not including the best free health care in the world. Its ironic now that she is in the top 1%. I would imagine she has a house/apt in DC and one in her hometown.

reply

That's not her fault.

That's just a way of people like you stopping socialists from getting into political power.

That said, I hope she donates a lot of her salary to good causes.

reply

Of course we should stop socialists, they turn into fucking Commies!

So she should live in her minivan?

reply

Do wut?

She says she lives in this Bronx condo: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6738889/AOC-insists-DOES-live-Bronx-claims-neighbors-never-met-her.html. The problem is her neighbors tell a different story. She spent most of her life in tonier Westchester County. The Bronx condo has mail piling up, and even local businesspeople say they haven't seen her patronize any of the local businesses. Except one lady remembered she came into a taqueria with a film crew to show how she interacts with the peeps in her old hood. 🙄

She also hasn't opened a district office there, which is considered the normal thing to do.

reply

First she claims she's too poor to afford an apartment in Jan, but now OWNs a Condo in Bronx?

reply

Total shocker: She's a liar. She'll fit right in in D.C. Thing is, she pretends to be some kinda different.

reply

What's her socioeconomic background?

Is she another Champagne socialist?

Not that I have any problem with rich allies. Good for them if they want to fight for the less fortunate. The only time I take offence is when they pretend to come from a tougher background than they really do.

And yeah, Westchester is pretty well-to-do.

reply

Well, she lived in the Bronx until she was five. That's daddy's condo, now hers. Most of her life, yes, she was a Champagne socialist.

reply

Wikipedia says her father died intestate. How did she get his condo, assuming it's his?

reply

"'She lives there,' the freshman congresswoman's spokesman Corbin Trent told DailyMail.com, referring to a condo in the Parkchester neighborhood that was owned by Ocasio-Cortez's late father." https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6738889/AOC-insists-DOES-live-Bronx-claims-neighbors-never-met-her.html.

The plot thickens.

reply

Why do you care where she lives?

reply

Because if she says she lives in the Bronx and she doesn't, she should be outed as just another liar elected to Congress. She likes to position herself as being some kinda different. She isn't. "I'm still Alex from the Bronx!" my eye.

But it won't make any difference to her supporters if she lies any more than it makes any difference to Trump's supporters if he lies. It won't make any difference to her supporters if she tosses out word salad and says she's a victim if anyone notices any more than it makes any difference to Trump's supporters that he tosses out word salad and claims victimhood if anyone notices. The problem will always be with the person who cares.

reply

Well according to wikipedia she has a residence in parkchester Bronx (which is a part of her district)and by ‘why do you care’ I mean how is where AOC lives important to you?

reply

I answered the second question, and if Wikipedia is correct, then why haven't her neighbors seen her except for PR appearances?

You didn't read the article. It shows. You didn't even read my response -- liars in Congress that can affect my life with their votes and bills should be important to everyone.
