The choker doesn't offend me but I see your point. For me though I like my pop stars to challenge and provoke. There's enough bland, indistinguishable artists out there playing it safe so they don't offend anyone in this culture of being permanently offended. I dig anyone who sticks up their middle finger to that, especially someone with her talent.
I don't mind provoking, but this just seems to be very crude for no reason. I think there is a difference.

shareLizzo's very open about her sexuality and her music really pushes the message that she's the one in control. In many ways it's like an antidote to 'Me Too' in that she's nobody's victim. Unlike many young female artists she's not selling herself as a sexual object, the image she's projecting is far more confident and far less submissive. She celebrates sex on her terms and I think that's admirable for any young woman.
Haha, yeah I love Little Shop too. It was the last thing I watched before creating this profile and the song was stuck in my head!
Ellen Greene is phenomenal in the movie and just knocks it out of the park in Suddenly Seymour.
