....that is all.share
Totally disagree. I don't think she is hideous at all.share
It is hideous to have a thing around her neck that says [email protected] Me.share
Yes, she is sassy.
The choker doesn't offend me but I see your point. For me though I like my pop stars to challenge and provoke. There's enough bland, indistinguishable artists out there playing it safe so they don't offend anyone in this culture of being permanently offended. I dig anyone who sticks up their middle finger to that, especially someone with her talent.
I don't mind provoking, but this just seems to be very crude for no reason. I think there is a difference.share
Well it doesn't scream "classy" for sure, but I admire the sass.share
You don't have to go down in the gutter to provoke or be sassy. Also, with all the woman revealing they have been the victim of sexual harassment, this kind of thing is probably not the best thing to advertise. BTW, I love Little Shop of Horrors.share
Lizzo's very open about her sexuality and her music really pushes the message that she's the one in control. In many ways it's like an antidote to 'Me Too' in that she's nobody's victim. Unlike many young female artists she's not selling herself as a sexual object, the image she's projecting is far more confident and far less submissive. She celebrates sex on her terms and I think that's admirable for any young woman.
Haha, yeah I love Little Shop too. It was the last thing I watched before creating this profile and the song was stuck in my head!
Ellen Greene is phenomenal in the movie and just knocks it out of the park in Suddenly Seymour.share
Agreed, I am old enough to remember a time when only attractive people were allowed to be celebrities.share
And I am old enough to remember when “Star” and “celebrity” were not confused as being synonyms. Yeah. She’s a celeb. Big whoop. Call me in 10 years and tell me who remembers her.share
I'm trying to forget her now. Dammit.share
I reckon I could call you in 10 minutes and there would be problems with how memorable she is. Never heard of her until her mug popped up on this forum.
Yeah I agree. Everyone is a star now.
THERE ARE SO MANY TALENTED SINGERS FLOATING AROUND...HER "FAME" HAS LESS TO DO WITH HER "TALENT" AND MUCH MORE TO DO WITH HER MILLENIAL MASS ACCEPTANCE FOR EVERYONE CIRCUS ACT OF FILTH.share
