I've watched some of his reviews and don't understand what the appeal is. His takes aren't interesting and his reviews are actually really boring.

He used to be a Jehovah's Witness, did you know that? He gladly left it so he could review movies and make them, but he's been ostracized by his family.

That's a shame. I like people from Jehovah's Witness. Nice people. They don't strap bombs to kids and send them in a busy market to detonate. I'm talking to you, Muslims!

He was one of the first YouTube movie critic that released videos on a pretty consistent basis. So, he got ahead early and has a big following. There are better movie reviewers out there that's for sure.

Chris had one really funny review and it was Fant4stic, other than that he just goes with the flow so he can seem relevant. I swear listening to him jizz his pants over the Force Awakens was beyond embarrassing. Then when Rise of Skywalker came out and everyone realized that the sequel trilogy didn’t tell a coherent story he’s just like “uhhhh I don’t’ want to talk about Star Wars anymore”, what a coward, he should have just admitted he was wrong.

I don't follow the dude but I believe he recently decided to not make negative reviews and he would only review films he likes?

What's even the point of being a 'critic' then?

Not sure if he stuck to that mind as I said I don't follow the dude but have seen a few videos here and there over the years.

I think he's a very nice down to earth dude.

However he is very VANILLA
