Up for the role of young Han Solo

Alden Ehrenreich is the kind of actor who is only just as good as the material he's given. The Coens gave him the best scenes in their last movie and a handful of morons somehow got convinced that he was a great actor.
I still haven't forgotten Beautiful Creatures, he was dreadful in it.

Egerton, meanwhile, has been good in everything he's been in. I hope he gets it, even if that'd be three franchises for him and thus he'll have less time to make smaller movies like Eddie the Eagle.

I certainly respect your opinion, but I disagree. I liked Alden Ehrenreich in Beautiful Creatures , a film I felt was undone by the script, not the actors. I thought he did a great job in a small part in Stoker, and was very good in

As I noted before, I like Egerton. He'll probably get the role, but I like Alden too. Either would be fine with me.

Good for you and your opinion, Ehrenreich was still terrible in Beautiful Creatures.

I'll just be wondering why you posted in Egerton's board that you preferred another actor, though. What exactly were you expecting? Agreement?
