New Wolverine?

I love Jackman's performance as Wolverine and I think it's a pity that he's going to quit after his third solo Wolverine film next year. Even more so because turning up in another X-Men film and Deadpool 2 and a potential X-Force film would be amazing. However, this sadly won't be the case...

Since his third solo Wolverine film is going to be his last outing, how long do you think Fox is going to take before recasting the part? No one can really deny that Wolverine is their most bankable character, sure, it's Jackman's Wolverine that's the most bankable and well known and Reynolds' Deadpool was a huge hit, one does not simply keep Wolverine out of the spot lights. And of course, Fox just keeps the rights because they're making several marvel films and Tatum's Gambit might become quite something as well.
STILL, lol, I think Fox will only wait for a couple of years before introducing their new Wolverine. Considering everything is now connected, I think it's going to be important how Wolverine is handled in Apocalypse. Singer says there's more to the sequence than the trailer implies (a simple escape) so we just have to wait and see how that will turn out. I figure they are keeping in mind that Wolverine is going to be recast at some point.

More on that, the fact that Wolverine hardly ages and given that the X-Men series is currently taking place in early 80s and that Deadpool takes place in present day, the new actor for Wolverine could still show up in all those films and not having to worry about not looking his age during that period lol. Same goes for Mystique but I just want her to die asap so we're done with the Bland Lawrence Show. But I just think it's a nice little thing to make use of.

Surely Deadpool 2 will expand the use of X-Men characters, Cable being one of them and hopefully more, thus so also paving the way for an X-Force film. Wolverine just got to be in there. He's simply too awesome and a very different character compared to Deadpool.
And I still hope Psylocke survives Apocalypse and that they somehow find a way for her to be part of the X-Force team. Munn is a talented actress and looks damn fine as Psylocke. Fingers crossed they can make her appear in Deadpool's trilogy so to speak.

And yeah, I think Taron Egerton would make for a great new Wolverine. He's talented, charismatic, got the face, the physique and I think he'd nail the part.
Also, I think that the X-Men now being in the 80s they can go (and as it seems are going) more comic book accurate with the costumes. Wouldn't you say that Wolverine's suit would perfectly blend in?

War, what is it good for?

I agree with everything except the bland Lawrence bit; and I don't really care whether costumes are comic-accurate or not.
