Can we talk about her armpits?

I find her so hot, and the outfit she wears in The Force Awakens reveals her armpits. Even though they are sweaty, they are impeccably shaved and smooth, which I find a little unrealistic given that she lives a life of a scavenger on a desert planet. Since she is so delicate, I don't think that she would have a lot of underarm hair had she allowed it to grow. While I do understand such thing may be risky for Hollywood, I believe it would make her look more... interesting.

reply

She isn't supposed to be from Earth, maybe her species doesn't have armpit hair.

reply

My mind expects them to be every bit as human as humans from Earth.

reply

Then you have only yourself to blame for finding some fault on the hairiness or lack thereof of the character. I'll simply accept that its supposed to be an alien of some humanoid form that may differ in many ways from earthlings.

reply

WTF, she is HUMAN, not HUMANOID. She is not some "alien" you idiot, where did you get that from? Go tell others to blame themselves, lol.

reply

Why the need to type the idiot "lol"?

reply

Pain relief.

reply

What a shitty cop-out explanation. The real reason is - she's not the kind of actress to put that level of detail into her character. And the studio would clearly not allow it as it would make her look less sexy.

reply

You couldn't make her look any less sexy than she already is... She is the least sexy actress you could find any Star Wars movie.

reply

I'm a 38 year old man, and I barely have any armpit hair.

I have a hairy chest, some hair on my back, but my armpit hair is super thin and colorless/transparent.

The fact that she doesn't have armpit hair isn't even rare on Earth. Hair comes in varieties.

reply

So in a galaxy far away, aliens look exactly like humans except their armpits¿?

reply

Could be... then again some women don't have armpit hair on earth.. So maybe most of her species do have armpit hair but she doesn't, just like most people aren't strong with the force, but she is.

In the end isn't it a bit strange that someone worries so much about why a character doesn't have armpit hair?

reply

My thoughts exactly!

reply

And their crotches too! Yeah.

reply

take me to that planet

reply

Neah, you don't want to live on Tatooine ...

reply

What about her fanny hair?

reply

No one likes butt hair.

reply

Fanny is not a butt.

reply

But is a butt a fanny?

reply

OFGS, yes America but not in the UK, a fanny is a vagina.

reply

really? didnt know that.

reply

You should've said cunt.

reply

Exactly. Out of all the time the brits say that word that guy decides not to use it now just to confuse people. I mean as much as us Americans say "motherfucker" we don't suddenly go "person who has vaginal sex with his own maternal parent".

reply

Maybe getting armpit hair suppression for females at birth is as common as males getting circumcised at birth is here.

reply

You only have to lightly brush a light saber under your arms once and all the hair gets burnt off and the follicles are cauterized so they are unable to grow hair there again.

reply

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

reply

People who live in deserts should not look like they shower every day. Never show the outhouse either.

reply

I can't believe this topic is actually being discussed, lol. Good times 😂

reply

Please reframe from typing "lol" or you will be asked to leave these forums..... Admin.

reply

If the movie was produced in Europe for the European market, your wish probably would have come true.

She is the representation of the perfect woman

reply

Not perfect but close. She is gorgeous.

The 4 year old thread is better: https://moviechat.org/nm5397459/Daisy-Ridley/58a8c4149f40950681630f68/It-would-add-realism-if-Rey-had-hairy-armpits

reply

I think getting rid of lightsabers and droids would add more realism. Jedi powers are a bit silly too, aren't they? Bah, at least they are midichlorians so it makes sense.
