Most female athletes have notably higher androgens levels than average for their gender. It's what makes them better athletes than the rest of their gender. It's why men are better athletes than women. Naturally the more masculine women excel at sports.

With NBA in particular, the extreme height due to notable expression of growth hormones causes psudeo-masculine traits. Taller people have deeper voices on average and people with acromegaly get psudeo-masculine facial traits due to enlarged facial bones.

So many female athletes are butch lesbians, it's unreal. Like seriously. In MMA, NBA and Football you'd swear about 33+% are lesbian. As an MMA fan I can say most WMMA athletes are ugly, save for a few like Alexa Grasso and Valerie Loureda. Even some of the ones who look kinda hot have a borderline trans look due to the muscle mass and often large, well developed skulls.

There's always the long shot that Griner was born of ambiguous sex, and the parents choose... poorly.

She's a woman, tho I don't really see any femininity in her. And she doesn't walk. She lurches.

After only seeing still photos of her throughout this story, I finally saw and heard a video of her talking, and she sounds exactly like a guy. Coupled with her complete lack of femininity and the current trans mania, I at first thought she must be a trans-woman. There seems to be a majority belief that she is an actual XX chromosome woman, but I think there's room for at least a bit of skepticism.
