Twitter only has apparent power. It has 300 million users but atleast 80% of those account are inactive or fake accounts. Even in Canada the vast majority of political commentors on either side of the argument are fake...

I am pretty sure conservatives have one guy controlling 500 accounts that call Trudeau "Junior" in every post.. The profile picture is generally a man with handle bar mustache, trucker persona, or trades man...

It is even worse in the USA, there are tens of thousands of fake political activist accounts.

Just call him by the name he likes. Geez. You don't have to believe that biological sex is a social construct or anything. Just use the name they prefer.

Elliot Page never had boobs. Peterson was talking about Ellen before she had surgery and changed her name, it doesn't make sense to call that person Elliot. I think Peterson is an idiot for making the tweet, and I disagree with it, but banning him for referring to preop Ellen is mental.

When lgbtq people talk about gender, it's short for "gender role," and has nothing to do with biological sex. It's a bastardized 1970s psychology idea based on gender stereotypes. Girls like baking. If a girl doesn't like baking, then she's not fulfilling a female gender role and maybe is psychologically male. Boys like shooting guns and sports, if a boy doesn't like doing those things it might be because he is psychologically female. It's not even based on sexual preference, just gender stereotypes. Does that sound credible to you? It sounds incredibly stupid, backward, and sexist to me. And Peterson even buys into it to some degree, more than me, but he has a stick up his ass about free speech.

You are mad at Petersen for referring to a mentally ill woman by her correct name and gender, but it doesn't bother you that those sick fucks mutilated her breasts because of a death-cult fad. sort your head out.

His tweet stated that a professional surgeon that made a surgery in a consensual patient was a criminal. That's slander, and the surgeon could have sued him if he was in the mood. Peterson crossed the line.

The "consensual patient" was mentally ill which means her "consent" was irrelevant.

Being mentally ill means you lose track of reality. Gender dysphoria means that as your brain sex doesn't match body one, and that generates a continuous signal of distress.

People with gender dysphoria are not "mentally ill". They have a perfect understanding of the situation, but that doesn't stop the distress from happening. Transitioning to the opposite sex stops it, which improves quality of life. It's a rational choice to stop that distress.

On the other hand, and since we're talking about being mentally ill, Peterson believes in magic invisible beings and gathers every Sunday in a building to worship them. By the way, do you?
