I love watching her on The Leftovers, she gives a great performance. The actress who currently plays the daughter isn't believable especially in the looks department.

That's a pretty nasty thing to say because Kerris is GORGEOUS and you know it.
That said, what kind of shallow dim-witted person attacks the looks of a 16 year old girl?
Do you really want to be in the crowd of people who would mock the looks of a toddler just because she's onscreen and it's easy? Are you living in a glass house with a hand full of stones?
I also disagree with you and feel they have the right young lady for the job already.
Kerris is talented and has that naive/innocent look...plus Margaret is too old to play a girl THAT young. She just wouldn't fit.
I think who they have already is fine, and Kerris does the best she can with the limited material she gets.
Margaret gets way more screen time on The Leftovers than Kerris Dorsey gets on Ray Donavan.
I'm sure if Kerris got a role with a larger part she'd be equally as good.
