Nice butt

One of the few good things about The Bronze.

She is really cute. I am looking forward to seeing her now in the movie "Besties" opposite Hailee Steinfeld (Haley and Hailee, that must have made for lots of confusion on the set).

I agree.

Yeah, her butt and legs/thighs were great in The Bronze - definitely the perfect body for a gymnast :-) Hadn't seen her in anything before that movie, but I've definitely caught more of her stuff now.

What didn't you like about The Bronze, though? I thought it was a great entry into the indie "dramedy" genre, plus was produced by The Duplass Bros who can do no wrong in my book (basically the reason I watched, plus I tend to relate to Thomas Middleton's characters lol), and had both laughs and heart to spare. However, I know those type of movies aren't for everyone. Really gotten into them the last few years as a nice change from more Hollywood/mainstream type stuff. I know I enjoy them a lot more than I would have when I was younger and couldn't relate to the whole "older (20s-40s) person still struggling to find their way in life" type thing. Misery loves company, I guess lol Plus I can laugh at myself and empathize with others like me. Oh well...different strokes. At least we can agree on Haley :-)

Oh, and for the person who mentioned Besties AKA The Edge of Seventeen - another great "dramedy" type move IMO. Plus both Haley and Hailee looked great in it. Hailee got a brief swimming pool bikini scene, but none sadly for Haley :-/ Though she does play the more sexually active character and I remember she showed her legs a bunch...definitely overall showed more skin than Hailee, who pretty much only did during that pool scene. But yeah, I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys the genre (though it may help if you are a misfit and/or grew up feeling like one, as you'll be more likely to empathize with both the male and female leads) and/or is attracted to either/both of those girls :-)

There are a couple of nice shots near the end that highlight Haley Ly's figure in TEoS.

As for The Bronze, I didn't find it funny at all, and I found the main character extremely grating, didn't believe her character arc either. When they tried to make us feel sad for her, couldn't buy it. But I''m just one man.

bjau75: One thing I forgot to mention about Besties AKA The Edge of Seventeen. The movie poster (which I just saw again) is a bit misleading, since in it, Hailee clearly is showing her bare legs (partly covered up though, dammit lol). However, the only scene she does this in the movie (as I remember) was in the swimming pool bikini scene (which was over before you know it).

Was disappointing, since my attraction to Hailee was the main reason I saw this (didn't know Haley Lu was in it, had honestly kind of forgotten about her I'm ashamed to say. Never again!) but I guess understandable, since her character was supposed to be a bit of a misfit and socially awkward. Though personally I didn't completely buy it, since she seemed pretty articulate and I was way more awkward and shy than her at that age (still am). No way I would have been that bold talking to the teacher like she did (or have such thick skin regarding his comments to her). She was more like my ideal self (whatever that says about me) lol Probably related more to the guy, though I don't think even he was quite awkward enough ether. Just had a "rare" talent that kind of alienated him from so-called "normal" people, I suppose. I wish I'd been as "awkward" as them in high school, haha.

Though the movie was still a pretty good entry into the "indie dramedy" genre (teen or otherwise) - I definitely stand by that. Just like The Bronze was. And I thought it was cool how the real life male lead was significantly older than Hailee - age ain't nothing but a number, as they say (not all older guys are dicks that just want sex like that pet store guy in the movie - what a douche) :-) They did look the same age, though. Not sure I could pass for teenage anymore, haha. Though I dyed my hair green recently for the first time ever (yay middle age rebellion! Why So Serious?), plus grew it longer than ever, had always wanted to, so who knows? :-) Everyone needs a dream and to have hope in their lives to go on. But yeah, Haley Lu definitely shows more skin overall than Hailee, despite the movie poster. Just thought you should know - Peace.

Oh, and I can't wait for Split next month. Haley Lu and M. Night together = guaranteed ticket sale from me. Screw the haters. He'll never please them (so we have that in common), but I have no problem admitting I'm still a fan. Plus the trailer looks amazing (as do all of Night's). Really liked The Visit, so I'm hopeful.

She's in her underwear quite a bit in "Split". She has a very nice figure.

Spoiler regarding movie: Her character doesn't meet a very nice end in the film though unfortunately.
