Between Gotham and The Slap
This young actress is having quite a year. There's something about her look - innocence and seduction at the same time.

shareI didn't even realize it was the same actor. She was good on Gotham and able to make an impression without much to do, and she's good on The Slap, a show that I think has a lot of potential (which probably means it will be cancelled soon). Some smart producer should put her in a rom-com soon.
shareI didn't recognize her, either.
She seemed miscast in Gotham, though. I just couldn't picture her as a seductress with the wiles to sway a seasoned mob boss who unquestionably has had women throw themselves at him to gain favor or power. Liza seemed a bit of a little girl. Which was particularly odd since she was supposed to be evocative of a mother figure. It might have worked better if she were to remind Falconi of a lost daughter.
And did she get collagen or something? She seemed to be a bit unnaturally trout-pouty in Gotham, and I don't recall that in The Slap.
