Constantly being mad over acting, she is cute and I really want to like her but either her acting or the script they gave her makes her unlikable she needs to stop being that mean aggressive lesbian no one wants to be around.

shareI think for being a graduate of the Juliard school her display of acting is a poor showing. I'm hoping it's the script but the other actresses nail their lines. The black actresses seem to be given overly stereotypical speech which borderlines are acute irritation of the ears. We get it. But then again -- that's probably the writers intent.

Because she kissed Taystee and then backed off completely? She was the only one her gang that showed integrity and didn't give in to Vee's crap. I have to agree that I didn't think her acting during her dramatic scenes was that great, but in her comedic scenes (more in s1) I found her hilarious.
I disagree.
1)Poussey's disposition is often fun-loving and goofy. You don't see her constantly smiling?
2)There are quite a few "mean, aggressive" women on the show, so why only single out her as being problematic? And what does being a lesbian have to do with anything.
