Just watched Resistance and came to find out about this actor and see he did 3 films with or at least also including Tom Wlaschica circa 2011.

Is he German or British? Or both? Lol

I'm catching up on his profile! I just discovered he was in Resistance! Steiner is a small role so I don't feel bad for not remembering. And I've seen Resistance several times :) I suspect he is German look at the other name he's known for and its just a marketing strategy of his agents to disguise that. No detectable accent either.
