Completely incomprehensible

It's damn near impossible to understand a word she's saying in Mr. Robot. And this coming from a danish man. Her lines are delivered in a completely incomprehensible murmur, and frankly her acting leaves a lot to be desired.

I don't have any problem understanding her at all. I have noticed that they only use location sound despite needing ADR in some scenes, maybe this is why your having an issue...

What a crazy nation of socialist republics that are together in a federation, of craziness

reply

Who cares what she is saying, I just like to look at her

From Denmark/Copenhagen area here as well.. I have no issues understanding her in Mr. robot at all... Maybe you should check the sound settings on your TV? Sometimes, if the signal is sent with 5.1 dolby or DTS and the tv set is set to (Or only have) stereo with no downmixing, some sounds sound muffled/low whilst other sounds are very loud and clear...

reply

It's probably not her speaking that's the issue. Often people's hearing can be distorted if they have a very misshapen head. You most likely need radical skull surgery.

reply

I understand her just fine.

reply

We all care. Because we're trying to watch and understand a show, not stare blankly at people.

However, I understand her just fine.

It can be difficult to understand, initially, when you're expecting someone to speak English, and not very comfortable Danish.

It says on the English SDH subtitle track, by the way, that she is speaking Swedish :p

reply

No, she's most certainly speaking danish ... The guy speaks swedish....
