A year of heavy workouts and extra protein/calcium should add another 8-9 inches to her height if she does the proper exercises.....

A small number of inches might be possible, but 8-9? Damn, if only Tom Cruise knew about this in his younger days, then he wouldn't be mocked for his short stature anymore.
