Sign Language
I read an article saying that she was fluent in ASL. Anyone knows whether this is true and how fluent she is?

shareApparently, a lot. It says it in her bio here on IMDB:
Taissa took American Sign Language classes for three years with her homeschool group and was an advanced student. She was part of a signing group called Signs of Hope.
I didn't know that, so thanks for bringing it to my attention. That's rather cool.
Missing out on the bullies, the prom and fashionable boys band, how can she go on??!

You have a very media friendly ie caricature view of homeschooling.
And I'm not sure how not knowing about certain bands or movies is such a hindering thing or that it directly correlates with strict & conservate parenting (it may, it may not), unless it comes to a point where socializing with peers who do know such things alienates her in a negative way.

I would love to see her do a few episodes of Switched at Birth. I'm from a family with both Deaf parents, Deaf sister, aunts, uncles, etc., and have also been a certified interpreter for 25 years. I always find it heartwarming to hear that more people are learning ASL. I wish more Hollywood stars would take on the language. Great job, Taissa!
shareshe is a super talent. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if she could sing also just like her just as talented big sister
