I always wonder if she is actually acting or if she is just herself? I've watched her on American Horror Story and a bunch of her movies. It's like she's always in character as Violet from AHS which I feel is really just her real self. I'd like to see her do something different.

I'd like to see her do something different though, see if she's improved since her stint in the theatre, but it doesn't look like she's getting any offers maybe?
She's not really that attractive, which let's face it, is the most important thing, & is very shy & not really hungry enough for success IMO.
I'm getting the feeling she's in the wrong profession actually.
Having said all that, I can't wait to see In A Valley of Violence though, great cast.
She's beautiful..she has a very ethereal look to her, very natural and very unique..I think she looks a lot like Vera when Vera was younger
I agree about the acting..every movie and show I've seen her in seems to be an extension of Violet..a moody teen or young adult who runs around moping or screaming. She needs to branch out from that persona.
In At Middleton she didn't pull off the comedic moments that well.
I heard she was really good on stage..someone posted articles where they praised her work. She gets good reviews and critiques for her films usually too.i can't help but think nepotism plays a part in that.
Someone posted a post about her films and almost all of her films and tv shows has a connection back to Vera and people who have worked with Vera in some way. Vera got her a long way..without Vera she'd never have gotten as far as she has because while she is beautiful and talented, it's nothing unusually great.
I get the sense she's not that into media or fame either, which seems like she's in it for the right reasons then, but I too get the feeling she wasn't a born or natural actress and just somehow landed into it and decided to pursue it. She's done well for herself though...if I had the chance to make tons of money I'd do it then retire from acting when I wanted to lol
I like that she isn't a party girl, she's a breath of fresh air in that sense. She was raised very strict in a religious home and was homeschooled. Her family is also wealthy, without Vera's money, they were wealthy before. She seems to have been born with luck and success ready to be handed to her lol..however she has seemed to work hard for it and doesn't strike me as someone who is stuck up or lazy.
She also seems very smart, she could probably do or be whatever she wants.
I wish her success no matter what she ends up doing.
