reply

I can see it in her.

In this photo I see it http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2912005376/nm3818748

Then again it could be made up. I've seen made-up ethnicities written on actor's pages.

But things change a lot over generations, if you are 1/4 something it might not be obvious, I have one grandparent with fairly dark skin, mine is very pale (most of my cousins are darker).

Some children in my extended family are 1/4 Chinese, and I don't think a single person has ever been able to tell. They look completely Caucasian. They even have fair hair -- medium brown at the darkest.

My extended family is full of people who are of mixed ancestry. We once had a Christmas day with 11 people and only 3 of the people there had ancestry from only one continent.

She has both European and Chinese ancestry. That helps to explain why I find her so attractive.

Most people wouldn't guess that Keanu Reeves and Kristin Kreuk are both half Chinese.

reply

Kristin Kreuk is kind of obviously-asian looking....

But yes most Caucasians who are 1/4 something often just look Caucasian. Who would ever guess that blonde, blue-eyed Chad Michael Murray is 1/4 Japanese?

reply

You don't see it? In "The Killing", I kept wondering how two Caucasian parents have a part Asian child.

reply

Really?

Who cares.
