I am by no means comparing theo to any of these actors, but what you said there at the end about producers type casting you off book roles isn't true because a lot of the twighactors play different movies and different roles. Same with a plethora of other book to movie actors.

He knows he's a pretty face. He even said "I know I get jobs because of my looks, I hope I keep jobs because of my acting"

Shrugs. Hollywood. It is what it is.

I get your point. Yet, I have seen many actors who end up doing these same types of movies because of the movie roles based on books. I do not want a good actor to end up only doing this type of role although, I hope it helps get him out there on a wider scale. I am going to make my point by saying if you look at the kids from Harry Potter, yes, they are all working but, none of them have been able to recapture that success in an adult role or even in other roles. Same goes with Twilight, yes, they are doing other stuff but when they walk into other auditions the producers are thinking about the character they played in a YA movie. I am not saying they cannot get work, I am saying it is harder for them to find different work because they are so identified with the character. Nor, am I talking about Nicholas Sparks books, I am more talking about YA books and roles.

I dunno. I don't think he has reached Robert Pattinson style stardom. There are way too many of those teen franchises out these days and most of them with the exception of the Hunger Games suck.
