Is there something seriously mentally wrong with him?

Doug Walker's ego is astounding. I know nobody's perfect and we all make mistakes, but Walker has made countless mistakes time and time again, mistakes that can only be made by someone with an extreme egomaniacal god complex.

Nostalgia Critic used to be one of my favorite shows on early YouTube, a sentiment that lasted all the way up until his "retirement" after the Scooby-Doo episode. Although most of his episodes haven't really aged well (perhaps due to my post-fanboy realization of who Doug truly is), some of his older reviews like Saved By The Bell, Kazaam, Top 11 Drug PSA's, Tom & Jerry: The Movie, and Howard The Duck all warrant some good laughs even to this day. This was clearly back when Doug was at least a little more humble, back when the NC was just a character being played by Doug. The whole idea of the NC was a snobbish manchild who was stuck in the 80's/90's and had something negative to say about everything, which used to not be who Doug was. Unfortunately, Doug has very much morphed into the exact monstrosity he created.

His recent reviews since 2013-ish have been anything but fun. Now, they're hostile, aggressive, vitriolic, and downright mean-spirited. He has called fans stupid for liking something he dislikes too many times to count, even when he's just being himself (see half of his Sibling Rivalry reviews). Entire reviews, such as Eight Crazy Nights to name one, are pretty much 20 minutes of him going "you're an idiot if you like this!" Doug is no longer playing a snobby fictional character: Doug sees himself as some sort of critical messiah, a godsend who thinks he's above everyone else. Most of his reviews are overly seriously, often painfully so, and it's clear he thinks these reviews are supposed to spread some sort of message that the masses should pick up on.

I seriously cannot fathom how ANYBODY could think the way he abruptly ended the NC was the right method of doing so. "Hey, remember that show you watched for years and grew to love? Well, it's canceled now, but you can watch my other completely different show you know nothing about!" Simply atrocious. Not to mention, Demo Reel was painful to sit through, and combined with the fact that he basically forced fans to watch it, why the hell was he so perplexed as to why the show gloriously failed?

After the recent bastardization of The Wall (seriously, what the flying fuck was this bald cunt thinking?), I am beginning to suspect that Walker may have something wrong in his brain. Perhaps he's even some sort of psychopath, the way he holds zero understanding of other people's emotions, the way he repeatedly fails to understand his own mistakes and hold accountability for them, the way he's been a content creator for over a decade now but has seemingly degraded due to his pulsating ego. It's been proven countless times that he views his work as perfect and as art, despite the quality simply being amateurish at best. His commentary track for the Moulin Rouge and especially the To Boldly Flee four-hour abomination is astoundingly cringe, as he just does nothing but jerk himself off and gloat about how this and that decision was excellent. He did nothing but escalate the #changethechannel movement by inciting the most childish insults possible, when he possibly could've stepped in and explained his side of the story in a respectful way like a normal sane human being.

The problem is that Doug clearly isn't a normal human being. Seriously: is Doug Walker mentally insane? Does he have some sort of personality disorder? Is it just some form of manic depression that's been ongoing for the last few years?

well. to answer all your questions. yes doug is a psychopath. i wont get into the details because i know that it will backfire at me. some information is just too much for people

however. doug was never good, funny,or creative in any way which is why i dont understand why you are dissapointed.

hes been making those awful demo reel nonsense since before 2010's and they are all incredibly bad productions with insanly bad acting. mostly from doug. (i dont know if its labeld as demo reel. what i'm talking about is all his stupid movies)

not to mention. all and i mean ALL of doug reviews are badly acted (mostly by him but also by his friends tamara and that black guy) all of them are made with the most crappy effects and costumes as well as the overall production. things like the camera and lighting and such are bottom of the barrel.

doug constantly think hes funny but hes not. hes a really really bad actor.

and also the fact is. doug is so narcissistic that when reviewing a movie he would personally attack actors or one actor so much and take it so personally its insane. like how he attacked adam sandler in his pixels review despite the fact that sandler is overall much funnier then him and is a milionare (which i think is the reason why doug is so angry about him)

what also i find funny is that doug bashed tommy wisau so much and so personally (litterly attacked him on his looks as well. called him a freak etc...) at least wisau know some basic filmaking (like how to shot films in a proper way) doug productions are the most amatuer garbage i ever saw. litterly look like something a kid from an elementery school would do.

at least the room is so bad its good. doug's movies are so bad they are horrendos. unwatchable garbage.

what doug does now is basically the same formula that he did since 2007 which is laughable how uncreative he is.

only now its not only bad movies that he would critisize but litterly any movie. and what he would do is stop every scene.
