Why the uppity English Accent?

I know Alfred has always been a British butler, but I thought Bruce Wayne was an American gentleman?

reply

It's his upper class upbringing.

reply

At time he sounds English to me and American in others. It is confusing! I don't know if it is David putting on an accent or if he picked up some of his father's accent

reply

He doesn't sound british at all to me, just "fancy".

reply

He doe Not sound British. He sound upper class, aristocratic blue blood.

reply

He doesn't sound British at all. I dunno what you're talking about?

reply

He doesn't have a British accent at all. Not even close. He just has an American accent with clear enunciation etc.
