The walking dead performance is bad

I don't think he's a good actor to play carl in the walking dead, im not trying to be mean, but I dont feel charism, feeling and emotion when he acts as carl.

The recent walking dead season 7 episode 1, make me realize that, I feel he's really blunt without connection and feeling to the character.
