The Man In The High Castle

He's a very strong actor, able to convey a lot with one look or expression. His performance helps define this series as thoughtful and intelligent. And yes, he's a total looker, who is highly watchable.

I'm happy that the decision-makers for "The Man in the High Castle" aren't axing characters left and right like "Game of Thrones." It would be immensely frustrating if they decide to kill off Joe Blake next season. In some interviews with Luke Kleintank, he talked about 2 dimensional characters and how The Man in the High Castle opens our eyes to the complexities of human beings--that even Nazis had lives, cared about their families and performed acts of kindness. Germans like the intellectuals of the White Rose Movement and John Rabe, the Nazi who saved many in Nanjing or Werner Vetter, the Nazi who married Edith Hahn, knowing she was a Jew. Joe Blake has the potential to be in this category. The simple view is to kill Joe Blake, for us to throw all the Germans and Nazis together and call them monsters. Don't get me wrong--many of them were but not all, as history has shown. Hatred will turn our hearts black. I sincerely hope that the powers-that-be continue to do a good job with the second season by keeping our hearts and minds open. Keep Kleintank and Sewell on the show. Bravo and well-done!
