shareLet's be honest: Zelenskyy wanted Ukraine to be a part of NATO. He kept pushing and pushing for it. He knew it was angering Putin more and more. And, he kept pushing Russia until they started their war against Ukraine. I think that Zelenskyy was betting that NATO would cave as soon as the war started and make Ukraine a NATO member. That didn't happen. But, seeing how America showers Israel with billions each year, he knew that, as a fellow Jew, he could get his billions from America. And now, America is fully funding Ukraine's war with Russia. Tens of billions already, with lots more to come.
Meanwhile, Zelenskyy and his family will never get their manicures chipped while a lot of Ukraine is getting flattened, and all of the soldiers who have the courage to fight in place of Zelenskyy are dying on the battlefield. It's always easy to want to get into war that you know you will never fight, but others will.
who the hell would make that bet and think NATO would add a country currently invaded by an enemy and risk war that way? that is one of the dumbest analysis I've ever read
