As a former comedian, surely Zelensky sees that by now. He's just a sacrificial pawn, used by the US and an expansionist NATO who have abandoned him, having served his purpose in provoking Russia. His country is now suffering for it.

Actually, the first verse of that song starts out-

"I started a joke/which started the whole world CRYING"

And then the second verse starts;

"I started to CRY/which started the whole world LAUGHING"

Minor correction.😎 But yeah, I get the analogy to the situation you're making with the lyrics to that Bee Gees song.
