His accent

He's a good actor and very, very handsome...but sometimes in Rogue his British accent creeps in and is a bit distracting. Unless they explained at some point why he'd have a bit of an accent...I haven't seen all the episodes.

Oh, who cares.

He's a good actor, has many great physical attributes, does comedy well, moves well, can't tell if that's his singing voice or is he lip synching but even that is done well.

I'd watch him with or without the accent. Is that the worst you have?

The kiddies always gotta have something to complain about.

I was watching Rogue and in episode 9 his accent went British. I came on here to see where he is from and I wasn't surprised to find out he is from London.
I guess he gets work based on his looks because he isn't that great an actor. And yes, an actor should be able to hold his accent.

Strange - I just watched the pilot of No Tomorrow and he has the most Australian sounding accent of a non Aussie not even playing an Aussie I've ever heard.

I couldn't agree more with this!
For a British Actor, he sounds like he could be from Perth or Adelaide in Australia where they still have a slight English cadence to their speech.
Throughout the whole pilot episode of 'No Tomorrow' I was wondering if his character 'Xavier' was meant to be Australian?
Perhaps it's because his girlfriend in real life (Kyle Minogue) is Australian?

reply

Yes, I thought he was supposed to be an "Aussie hipster". At least that's how I've seen it said in reviews and articles. It's a lovely accent for sure; he does a great job. :)
