OMG, like, fer sure! We're, like, totally jelly, herp derp!
Why do sycophants continue to idolize a hack who owes her entire career to the more talented and creative people that she shamelessly ripped off and never, ever gave credit to? Is it because they're too immature to realize that the artists they grew up with loving weren't necessarily as creative or talented as they thought they were? When I was 12, I was also an idiot who thought that all those one hit wonders of the 1980s I heard on the radio were the best artists ever until I learned who their (better) influences were and listened to those better artists instead. I grew up. When will you?
Wow, atomicgirl just turned into nuclearwoman! Run for your lives!!!!!
I don’t know, she’s a pop artist, pop music is fun, not something to start calling people idiots and sycophants for enjoying. She must really burn your toast for you to unload like that two months after the last reply. That’s impressive hate.
Artists get ideas from others all the time and just put their unique spin on it, like Tarantino did with "The Hateful Eight," which was inspired by a half-hour 1960 episode of The Rebel. Heart did it with their song "Barracuda," which was inspired by a Nazareth riff from "This Flight Tonight." Both Tarantino and Heart greatly improved upon the lesser pieces that inspired them.
I'm not a fan of Lady Gaga by any stretch, but she's good-looking and entertaining, so I caught a documentary on her and came away from it having more respect for her because it showed her great dedication and diligence. People who cry about her (and others') success are just envious, which is pathetic.
