Gaga loves to hang out with elderly friends like Tony Bennet and Elton John. Why doesn't she have peers her own age? It seems as though none of her contemporaries like her and so she latches into people who are past their best days so she can seem like more of a legend and they latch onto her so they can seem current.

She does have friends who are more her age. At least she has hang out with a couple of people a fwew times.
Katy Perry, Beyonce, Kesha. Probably not friends, but tey seem to like Gaga.
