Might be on the way out as The Flash in DCEU

John Francis Daley (Game Night, Spiderman: Homecoming) was hired to write the standalone 'The Flash' movie starring Ezra Miller and Kiersey Clemons in 2018, but left the project last year after it was reported he and his co-director Jonathan Goldstein disagreed with Miller on the tone of the film (supposedly, they wanted it lighter and Miller wanted it darker).
