Legend (film)

Looks like he'll be playing the role of Frankie Shea alongside Tom Hardy (Reggie and Ronnie Kray) and Emily Browning (Frances Shea). It's a 1960s era film about the infamous London gangsters who were associated with popular icons at the time such as The Beatles, etc.

Why is he not listed on the cast section on the IMDb page for this project?

It may take awhile to update. But he's already been spotted shooting the film with Tom Hardy in Greenwich, London.

He certainly seems to like the period stuff!

He was very good in Quirke.

I do see the trend. First he was in Mojo (50s), Quirke (50s), Testament of Youth (1914 onwards), and now Legend (60s). The oddball is "The Fall" set in modern Northern Ireland. I'd love to see him in more modern films.

Do we have any idea when "Testament of Youth" and "Legend" are slated for release? Also, is there any more news about the casting for "The Rising"?

Last I read, there's been talks of having a special gala for "Testament of Youth" in the British Film Institute London Film Festival this October, although the release is supposed to be next year. Legend is supposed to be next year as well.

As for "The Rising", I think they're still trying to solidify investors although there were two official castings announced - a minor character and Sean MacDiarmada's gilfriend at the time. I think they will release new information gradually.

Looks like a release date of 13 Sep 2015 (UK)! The trailer looks intriguing. Some say that its release date timeframe probably means it's trying to go for the Oscars.

What's amusing is Colin and Taron Egerton are together again onscreen right after Testament of Youth. Can't wait to see this film for his scenes. He'll be breaking a lot of hearts again with his fantastic acting, I'm sure.
