Inconsistent acting

I remember first seeing Freida in "Slumdog Millionaire" and being thoroughly unimpressed by her acting. Also, she had about 15 minutes total of screen time so I thought her performance and involvement in the film was overrated.

I then watched both "Miral" and "Trishna" and I was very impressed, especially with the former. I thought she did a great job. After that I watched a couple more of her movies, that were released AFTER those two, and her acting again was mediocre at best.

I wonder why she shines in a few films but is bland in most others. The two films where her acting was good were both independent films - maybe that has something to do with it?

She is rilly hot, but she should not kill herslef in films like her last one.
