sensmeier?


i am highly interested in german-american history (not only since i spent an afternoon at ellis island a few years ago) - so i wonder if anyone here could help me. sensmeier sounds german, of course, yet his biography doesn´t mention a german background. i wonder why...

maybe. that is not what i asked for exactly. nonetheless: thank you very much for helping.
at least there are some german sensmeiers - so it´s quite possible he is of german descent, too. some sensmeiers might have crossed the pond.
i just wonder why it´s not mentioned in this tiny (and seemingly incomplete) biography. hmm...
