Is she that picky or gets turned down for a lot of roles? I'm a Lily fan and want to see her in more films. It's just odd that she isn't in much.

Yeah, I thought she was gonna be in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? Now Lily James is the lead, and I believe the movie is already finished filming.
I love Lily and I too want to see her in more movies but of lately I'm a bit disappointed in her. The only "work" she is doing right now is experimenting with her hair/fashion or taking useless selfies . Sometimes I wonder if she actually cares about her career going downhill. Suppose if she is not getting movie roles she might as well try her luck in television ... Maybe a historical tv series or something like that or why not theatre? I may sound rude but if she pays attention to her career as she does to her personal life or fashion , then there might be some hope... But for now she seems pretty happy taking selfies and attending fashion shows.

I just find her career very strange. She's becoming another socialite, instead of a serious actress. Her lack of filmography is alarming for someone who's supposedly tapped to be the next big thing. I was really looking forward to seeing her in Pride Prejudice & Zombies, but we got another Lily instead. I wonder what happened. Did Collins drop out or they no longer wanted her in the role? She is still listed in How To Be Single, but who knows if she'll still be in the film? So, what's the deal?

Agreed FebuaryDreams. As I mentioned above I am a huge fan of Lily but yes, she probably has the shortest and least impressive filmography for an upcoming actress . There are times where I think that she wants to become a film star rather than a serious actress judging by her filmography.
... And I really want to know about this so called busy schedule she has in which she is dropping films like stones in water.
Maybe she's in school? Or she's probably just going to be the next Sienna Miller since the real Sienna has come out of the hole she dug herself in. Lily is probably getting lazy and is sleeping around to up her popularity.
shareMaybe she is just not that good. I am sorry, I just am thinking of two movies that were supposed to rocket her career but were flops. Mirror mirror, even Julia couldn't save it, amd Mortal Instruments, even Cerci Lannister aka Lena Headey couldn't save that train wreck. I do wish her the best though. Her career couldn't get worse at this point, oh wait it could, it could go down the Lohan train.
shareI enjoyed her and Roberts in Mirror Mirror, but I don't think she's shown range. Maybe she has lost motivation to be an actress? Even terrible actresses sign up to anything they can in order to stay relevant.
GoonGirl for Hire
Steep competition. There are a lot of women around her age that are probably auditioning for the same roles. She's had a few movies to launch her career, however, they weren't very successful. Not her fault, especially if she can get people to say she was the best thing about her movie.
Right now, it looks like she's more interested in being a "mocktress" - someone vaguely remembered for being an actress, but only promotes brands- so I don't know if she's still auditioning.
If she is, I hope she goes the Indie route and tries to get small roles. She cannot carry a movie, granted she shouldn't have to if the movie is good enough.
And she acted like I was teaching her about everything.
