He's got a very distinctive voice & his acting is improving! Underrated!

After seeing nearly half of his filmography, I've realized Boyd has got a very distinctive and recognizable great voice, in addition to his good looks and improved acting skills!

In addition to his perfect narration in Narcos, there are scenes in his recent films [e.g. Run All Night (2015), A Walk Among the Tombstones (2014)] where he is speaking but the camera isn't showing him yet, and I could totally guess it was him before he was shown on screen. For an actor, that's saying something!

I think Boyd is terribly underrated as an actor and poorly judged by his looks! I guess people who compare his looks to Justin Bieber  don't know that Boyd has been an androgynous fashion model for almost 8 years (pic: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/b4/7f/71/b47f717ebbe5d24675b77ccf1fe4c5fa.jpg) and during that time he saved money to study film at university so he could get into acting. This explains his baby-face or slightly feminine facial features. But since when are actors judged solely by their physical appearance?!
Although he started his acting career with tiny roles (most actors do so!), his recent roles have been bigger and also better acting-wise! He's chosen very diverse roles - from penniless drug addict to rich merciless criminal son - and more often than not he's chosen roles where his character has a dramatic death (and according to DiCaprio's career, this steps the acting game up! ). I can't wait to see Boyd in lead roles in the near future!

I really liked him in Narcos, and he usually plays creepy, borderline dangerous dudes, since he's got genuinely big creepy eyes, lol---first saw him in A Walk Among The Tombstones--excellent film noir thriller, and Run All Night. Nut, yeah, he's good-looking, but in a more real-life way--he's not a Hollywood pretty-boy looking type, which is refreshing--he looks like he's been around the block and then some, which lends some gravitas to his roles. I wouldn't mind checking out that Hatfield and McCoy series since I found out he was in it. Always like seeing him in something, though, and yeah, he can act---meaning he'll be around longer than some of these pretty boys that get more hype just for looking good, lol.
