Why is no one curious about where he's from?

Watching Imperium, which has a bunch of non-American actors using American accents, and his character on The Knick is SO Irish... it makes me curious what his original accent is. Just wondering.

His "normal" accent is basically "American". If you watch him on the aftershow and on the show "This Is Us" you will hear him speak in his natural cadence.

Don't know where he is from but he went to LMU in LA. He was older but was in my daughters acting class there.

He has a spot-on Irish accent in The Knick. I really thought he was Irish.
