Acting Was Horrible in Wrong Turn 3!
She was not a good choice for the lead girl. When she acted on screen it was awkward, and she was cheesy. She was okay in The Hills Run Red.
shareThe only thing I've seen her in was WT3 and HRR. She was ok in HRR, and yeah, I agree, she was quite crappy in Wrong Turn 3.
But considering how terribly made WT3 was, no wonders. It's not just her, all others were quite bad, so it's most likely directors fault.
Take an Elm Street remake for an example. All "teens" were quite bad because they were poorly directed, yet Mara gave excellent performance in "tGWtDT" and that other Fincher movie (about the Facebook guy). Guy who played her boyfriend in Elm Street was also quite good in "Red" and he was quite creepy in Criminal Minds where he played some religious nutcase serial killer. So, it's definitively ES director's fault because he didn't have a clue how to direct his actors. JEH is probably the only exception because he has tons of experience so most likely he doesn't need huge director from director to make most of his scenes. ;)
