He has great potential but still not a great actor

Dane can be really great at playing extremely intense roles like Chronicle, A Cure for Wellnes or The Place Beyond the Pines but when he ever tries to do quirky or comic roles like Valerian or Amazing Spiderman 2 or period dramas like Life he just really sucks and seems extremely bland
